• The entire Bachelor Pad cast be back for the finale, when the final four will compete against each other as couples (2-on-2). The winners of that round will then go face-to-face for the $250,000 prize, which will be voted on by the eliminated contestants.

• The Bachelor Pad mansion features a living area where all 19 contestants sleep in bunk beds and an upstairs "fantasy suite."

• When the contestants go on mini group dates, one person is awarded a rose, which means they receive immunity and cannot be voted off in the next elimination.

• After each challenge, the guys choose to vote off one girl, and the girls choose to vote off one guy. The eliminated guy and girl's headshots are then dropped into a ballot box, to be revealed at the elimination ceremony by hosts Chris Harrison and Melissa Rycroft.

The 2010 US Open was a tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts, held from August 30 to September 13, 2010 in the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center at Flushing Meadows, Queens, New York City, United States.

The tournament was initially going to finish with Men's Singles final on Sunday, September 12, but because of this day's rain, the tournament was held for one more day just like the 2008 and 2009 editions.

Juan Martín del Potro and Kim Clijsters were the defending champions. Del Potro, due to a wrist injury, opted not to defend his title. Rafael Nadal defeated Novak Djokovic 6–4, 5–7, 6-4, 6–2 in the men's final. Clijsters successfully defended her title with 6–2, 6–1 in the final against Vera Zvonareva. Former champions Justine Henin and Serena Williams withdrew with injuries.

The Champions Invitational returned for the fifth year with 16 former Grand Slam tournament champions and finalists. It was a doubles only event for the first time, but employed the fan-friendly World TeamTennis format for the second consecutive year. Players were divided into four teams of four players each. All teams played two matches from Wednesday, September 8, through Saturday, September 11. For the first time, prize money was awarded to the competitors based on their team's order of finish.

The invitees for this year's event included a host of past US Open champions, including sixteen-time US Open champion Martina Navratilova, two-time women's singles champion Tracy Austin (1979, 1981) and 1988 men's singles champion Mats Wilander, as well as the Champion Invitational's first "Hall of Fame team": 2010 International Tennis Hall of Fame inductees Gigi Fernandez and Natasha Zvereva, who teamed to win three US Open women's doubles titles, and Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde, who won back-to-back men's doubles championships in 1995 and 1996.

Monday Night Football (MNF) is a live television broadcast of the National Football League. Originally airing on the ABC network from 1970 to 2005, Monday Night Football was the second longest-running prime time show on American broadcast network television (after CBS' 60 Minutes) and one of the highest-rated, particularly among male viewers. ABC aired a total of 555 Monday night games.

As of December 28, 2009, the Monday Night Football franchise had aired a total of 626 games.

To avoid any scheduling unfairness where a team may have five days between games and others six before the first playoff game, there is no Monday night game during the final week of the regular season. From 2003 until 2005, one game was played on Thursday and another Monday under the Monday Night Football banner. Starting in 2006, when the series moved to cable, two games are played on the opening Monday night to capitalize on fan interest during "Kickoff Weekend".

Monday night games early in the season are often highly anticipated since records are new, teams usually are showcasing fresh talent and potential, and storylines coming into the season are often played out as fans try to see if these hyped teams are up to form. Since no one knows during the first month of the season if a team is indeed good, or will rebound from a difficult start, interest is usually high for the first few weeks of the MNF season.
