For a second there, this Fifth season of Dexter was starting to look like a weird buddy-cop movie, with Michael C. Hall and Julia Stiles divvying out their weird brand of justice to the city of Miami. But all of that is gone now that Dexter has bought into Lumen's story and decides that he wants to help her.

Next week, the focus stays on the Santa Muerte case, hopefully with some type of payoff coming soon. The bumbling detectives of Miami Metro make some bigger moves in the case, setting their sites on capturing the Fuentes brothers. Check out these two clips of what's to come. In the first, we get Lumen explaining her captors mode of operation. In the second, we get a little taste of what to expect with the upcoming sting operation on the Fuentes brothers.


Synopsis:

While helping Lumen, Dexter finds himself on a collision course with Debra and the rest of Homicide when he is called to investigate a horrifying crime scene. Meanwhile, the Santa Muerte case leads to a violent standoff between Debra and the Santa Muerte killers.
