She's the woman who defied single-motherhood as a drug dealer, was driven unwittingly into a marriage with a crime kingpin and forced to live life on the lam because her son went temporarily insane and killed Pilar. It's time to get scared because The Walking Dead are here! It seems that movies are not alone to introduce the other side of living. Television Series are also steeping-up to level the thrill that film could give to its viewing public. Last week, a different kind of TV show was starred as "The Walking Dead" premiered its first episode (Days Gone Bye) which established the zombie apocalypse. Bit scary but at the same time we are hooked on Sheriff's Deputy Rick Grimes voyage on finding his family. I'm sure even the zombie hater's gonna love the show as it feels real and looks cinematic.

The Walking Dead mainly focus on Sheriff's Deputy Rick Grimes who is the main protagonist of the show. Rick was put into a coma after a vicious gunfight. He awakens to find himself in a dangerous new world that has been ravaged by mindless, bloodthirsty zombies. With his wife and son missing, Rick embarks on a perilous journey to find them. This series is based on the comic book on the same titled by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. It won the 2010 Eisner Award for Best Continuing Series at the San Diego Comic Convention.

Meanwhile, this coming Sunday, November 7, 2010, the creepiness will continue wherein Rick's arrival in Atlanta puts another group of survivors in jeopardy in The Walking Dead Season 1 Episode 2: Guts. Emotions amongst the group are high as Rick must confront an even more dangerous enemy than the walkers. Just like on the first one, this is also written by Frank Darabont by directed by Michelle MacLaren.
