After the big revelations of last week's episode of Supernatural, Supernatural Season 6 Episode 10 is back on the road. Entitled "Caged Heat", it will make a big hit on Friday, December 3 at 9pm on The CW. So never miss to watch this episode!


In interviews about season 6 of Supernatural, the boys discussed which brother had the worst Hell experience. Dean, as we know, spent 30 years getting tortured and 10 years doing the torturing, causing him to feel incredibly guilty. Sam, on the other hand, is trapped inside a cage with Michael and Lucifer, but is generally separated from the rest of Hell. Certainly, Sam's been in Hell the longest. In a new promo and sneak peek below from Canada's Space Channel, Castiel tells Dean that he believes Sam's soul is enduring untold torment. After all, if Michael and Lucifer are continuing their fight in Lucifer's cage, then who knows what they're subjecting Sam to.

Dean just wants his brother back and is prepared to help Sam's soul heal from its scars when the time comes. But Sam is wavering. Will he let Dean retrieve his soul and put it back in his body? Supernatural will go on a short winter hiatus as of December 12, but the December 5 episode hails the return of Meg and will set us up for what may be a very interesting mid-season finale. Meg (guest star Rachel Miner) kidnaps Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) and tries to force them to tell her where Crowley (guest star Mark A. Sheppard) is hiding. Sam makes her a deal – they will help her find Crowley if she promises to torture him for information about how to get Sam's soul back.

Castiel (Misha Collins) joins the fight but finds it difficult to work with Meg. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Brett Matthews with story by Brett Matthews & Jenny Klein.

Smallville's previous episode ends up with very great episode. This latest episode of Smallville is entitled "Patriot" that will hit the airwaves on Friday, November 19 on the CW.

In the past two seasons, Smallville has done a lot of things right. For starters, the creative team introduced the threat of Checkmate last season. In lieu of Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) and Lionel Luthor (John Glover), Smallville was on a downward spiral without villains worth facing. Doomsday was a cheap knock-off. Tess (Cassidy Freeman), although recently revealed to be a Luthor by blood (and Lena Luthor at that), was no Lex. Adding in a strong ongoing government component to Smallville's villain roster helped boost the impending threats to Clark's (Tom Welling) farm-boy fantasy world. Government involvement also sparked a Vigilante Registration Act to face and several anti-Blur factions. Being a hero is no longer such a great thing to be.

Now, Darkseid has arrived – at least in spirit. The Omega symbol is coming up everywhere – most recently in Slade Wilson (Michael Hogan). Comic readers know that Doomsday is all about the dreaded Omega Beams he emits from his eyes (they're like Kal-El's heat vision but way more powerful, hence the name Omega). The Omega Beams were strong enough to purportedly turn Kara Zor-El into dust in the Superman/Batman "The Supergirl From Krypton" series (issues #8-13) that introduced the latest version of Supergirl to the DC Universe (she never really died thanks to the "old" Cosmic Dust-Supergirl Ashes switcheroo). Although it doesn't look like Darkseid will be as powerful on Smallville as he is in the comic book, he is able to manifest other devilish powers like possession. He was originally in control of anti-hero evangelist Gordon Godfrey. Now, it is revealed that his earthly minions include the triple play of Desaad, Gordon Godfrey and Granny Goodness. Granny, however, is the forerunner of Darkseid's minions. She has been on Earth the longest and therefore has been affecting the events in Clark's life before his appearance in Smallville Season 10.

While Darkseid's presence serves as the main threat as well as anti-hero legislation, there is also the looming issue of the Lex clone. Tess has finally been accepted into the inner-circle of the Watchtower. Although she seems to have shunned her inner evil to help Clark on his "mission," her recent discovery that she is a Luthor may cloud her judgment. Also, it would seem that if Darkseid had to possess anybody, why not go for Tess or the Lex clone. After all, Luthors are prone to possession. Lex let himself be possessed by Zod, while Lionel opted for Jor-El after Pa Kent (John Schneider) died.

"The world needs you, Lois."

Really? It was just a few short seasons ago that Lois (Erica Durance) was nothing more than a Superhero groupie, dating Green Arrow (Justin Hartley) and Aquaman (albeit for a day). Thankfully, Lois' character is finally starting to mature from being not-Chloe (Allison Mack) and Lana-wannabe (Kristin Kreuk) to something much more integral to the Smallville mythos. Instead of just fulfilling a role as Clark's inevitable soul mate, Lois has found herself to be an integral part of the Watchtower team. More than that, she's actually much more helpful to Clark than Lana ever was (even after Lana knew Clark's secret). Lois has repeatedly used her ingenuity and overbearing curiosity to help Clark.

As we move towards the Smallville mid-season finale (and regrettably move towards the Smallville series finale), we'll be looking out for Lionel Luthor's return in episode 10, "Luthor." Also Slade (aka Deathstroke) will be making another appearance in Episode 11 "Icarus." While Michael Hogan (Battlestar Galactica) is a great choice for Slade in regards to personality and acting, he hardly has the look of Slade. You can give him an eye-patch, but there's no way we'll believe that Slade is a mercenary/assassin who can wield a sword with the skill to take down any of our heroes. Sometimes stunt casting needs to be benched. Deathstroke is such a great character to use, but if you're going to use him then he should be used to the fullest extent of his character.


All things considered, the final season of Smallville continues to impress. At this rate, Smallville will soar into the skies with a well-deserved send off that befits the series.
